But there are decisions that must be made after you’ve established your needs. Not knowing where to start or feeling overwhelmed by all the choices can be an issue. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
We’ve put together a styles buying guide for you to walk through the act of comparing this mobile heater to the next.
Fuel Types:
When you’re designing an outdoor area and you need versatility, a totally enclosed mobile heater is for you. It really is that simple. Almost all of our mobile heaters are equipped to store a 20 pound LPG propane tank, BBQ style. This translates into about 10 hours of constant consumption while complete freedom in arrangement.
For those that don’t want a bulky propane cover around the bottom, we offer 2 natural gas options as well. These heaters maintain portability but do require a natural gas hookup nearby.
As an alternative our Fire Sense Infrared Pole Patio Heaters are fueled by the standard electric system already established within your home or business and require a standard outdoor rated electrical outlet.
Design:
From colored finishing to styling, there are many design elements to consider. We offer mocha finishing, the classic look of stainless steel and even modern designs in aqua blue, Tuscan orange and chatreuse green. Need a vintage touch? We’ve got that. What if you’ve established that you want a patio heater that doesn’t really look like a patio heater? We offer a solution for that as well. Lamp post style, pyramid enclosed flames or lantern-like, there isn’t a design theme we miss in our mobile heaters.
Power:
Most mobile heaters run off propane or natural gas so do not consume electricity. However, our infrared electric models plug into standard 110V receptacles.
Controls:
Reliable piezo ignition systems come equipped in all our mobile heaters, except for two. Our Fire Sense Infrared Pole Patio Heater is fueled by electricity so turning it on means plugging it in. Our Fire Sense Select Series models contain an electric ignition system perfect for dependability.
Safety Features:
All mobile heater models come with a set of safety features depending on the fuel source type. For propane and natural gas fired models, many come with weighted bases for increased stability as well as an automatic shut off tilt valve for emergency scenarios. For the Fire Sense Infrared Pole Patio Heater model, the lack of combustion means no harmful emissions or toxic by-products or imminent danger if it happens to fall over.
Flexibility and adaptability are some of mankind’s most graceful features and we try to recreate the same sentiment in each selection of our mobile heater line. When it comes to choosing your perfect outdoor patio heater, deciding mobility is just the first step. We’re here to provide you with resources and information so that you make the absolute best decision you can when choosing to equip your outdoor expanse with the heat that extends the life of the party.
